I provide:

• Health & Wellness Coaching
  • Client-centered, non-prescriptive support
  • Facilitating behavior change, goal setting, and accountability
  • Services aligned with the NBHWC Scope of Practice
• Herbal Education
  • General information about herbs, traditional uses, safety considerations, and basic theory
  • Workshops, newsletters, and blog posts
  • Not individualized medical or herbal treatment plans

I do not:

• Diagnose, treat, or cure medical or mental health conditions
• Offer medical, psychological, or nutritional counseling
• Provide personalized herbal prescriptions or medical advice
• Replace advice from licensed healthcare professionals

Clients are encouraged to consult a licensed physician or qualified provider for any health concerns.

3. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

• Provide accurate information as needed for coaching engagement
• Attend scheduled sessions or provide timely cancellation
• Understand that results depend on individual participation and follow-through
• Consult with medical professionals before making changes to health routines, herbs, or medications

Coaching is a collaborative process and does not guarantee outcomes.

4. Confidentiality & Exceptions

All coaching conversations and personal information are handled in accordance with:

• NBHWC Code of Ethics
• Standard coaching confidentiality
• Relevant state laws (Texas and Arkansas)

Exceptions to Confidentiality

Confidentiality may be broken if:

1. You express intent to harm yourself or others
2. There is suspected abuse or neglect of a child, elder, or vulnerable adult
   • Mandatory reporting laws apply in both Texas and Arkansas

1. Disclosure is required by a court order or legal process
2. Required to protect public safety
3. You provide written consent to share information

Whenever possible, you will be notified before information is disclosed.

5. HIPAA Considerations

Coaching and herbal educational services generally do not fall under HIPAA unless specific conditions apply (such as insurance billing).

However, I voluntarily follow privacy practices consistent with HIPAA principles wherever possible.

If HIPAA requirements become applicable in the future, this document will be updated.

6. Payment, Refunds & Cancellations

Payment

Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.

Refunds

• Refund policies (e.g., non-refundable, partially refundable, or refundable within a set      timeframe) should be added here
  (Example: “Sessions canceled 24 hours in advance may be rescheduled, but payments are non-refundable.”)

Cancellations

Clients are responsible for canceling or rescheduling with adequate notice, as outlined in your specific service agreement or scheduling system.

All content on this website—including blog posts, articles, workshops, newsletters, and educational resources—is for informational and educational purposes only.

It is not intended to:
